HI THERE, I'M JANICE

Nutrition and wellness business owner, an avid home cook and founder of Not A Diet.

I'm a trained Nutritional Consultant certified by the Association for Nutrition and for the past few years, I have been helping busy professionals transform and take back control of their health.

To date, those who have worked with me have rediscovered what it means to live with energy, and to ditch old-fashioned, restrictive diets that don't work.

But at one point I was just like you - tired, busy, and desperate to feel better.

Back then, I didn't know anything about nutrition - I rarely gave any thought to what I was eating, as long as it was tasty. I began my nutrition journey when my corporate career was just starting, so when I decided to dive into the world of health and nutrition, it was confusing, sometimes shocking, and often overwhelming.

Now I'm in the best health of my life, and the programmes I've developed are helping other busy professionals achieve the same.

Instead of spending time looking for the next diet that promises results, or agonising over what not to eat, we're able to be present for the people in our lives, and enjoy every aspect of our lives filled with energy.

  • q-iconWill any of the Not A Diet programmes suit me?

    Absolutely! Our programmes are designed to suit a variety of needs, requirements and goals. All of them are highly personalised, and you can always tell us if anything changes or if you want more focus on a specific area. We’ve had such a wide range of happy members from different walks of life and different demands, we’ll be happy to welcome you onboard!

  • q-iconHow long do your programmes last?

    Typically our 1-2-1 coaching programmes last at least 8 weeks, and can be extended based on your requirements. Our group coaching programme goes on for 10 weeks, with options to purchase individual top-up coaching sessions.

  • q-iconWhat if we have holidays / other engagements? What if I had to skip a call?

    All our programmes encourage consistency and continuity, so we don’t advise starting a programme if you’ve already planned to have a few weeks off during the programme – in which case you will be advised to book your space and only start the programme once you return. If it’s just one week, you can arrange to reschedule the call with your coach – the skipped week will not count towards the overall duration.

  • q-iconCan sessions be rescheduled or cancelled?

    Short answer is, it depends! Detailed information can be discussed with your coach but no-shows will count towards your overall programme duration and will not be refunded. You must inform your coach of any cancellations 48 hours in advance.

  • q-iconDoes this programme include physical exercise?

    While we may discuss and explore the role of physical exercise in your overall health and nutrition, our programmes do not include prescriptions and/or advice on physical exercise. Depending on your specific goals and needs, we may be able to provide recommendations or referrals to physical training coaches.

  • q-iconCan I do this with food intolerances /allergies?

    Our programmes are not solely focused on meal planning and food preparation, and we do not prescribe any specific foods. Rather, the programmes will provide education and information around mindset, behavioural and lifestyle changes, so food intolerances / allergies can be catered for. However, you are advised to seek advice from your GP or medical practitioner and get their sign-off before joining, as you will be held solely responsible for your health.

  • q-iconAm I expected to do anything in-between our weekly calls?

    An important element of our programmes is the sense of accountability. Between our weekly calls, you are encouraged to send daily food diary photos within a private WhatsApp group. Depending on your individual health and nutrition goals, we may also discuss other habit building or mindset exercises. The level of participation is always up to you, you won’t be penalised for not taking part, but remember the effectiveness of the programme may be impacted.

  • q-iconWhat if I want to quit before the programme ends? Will I get a refund?

    We really hope you won’t quit before the programme is over! But if you do, you will only get a partial refund of 50% of the programme fee, provided you are cancelling your participation within the first 2 weeks of programme commencement.

  • q-iconWill I get meal plans and other resources?

    Depending on your individual health and nutrition goals, you will be provided useful resources as part of the programmes to help you succeed and reach your goals.

  • q-iconIs it difficult to shop for ingredients in this programme?

    Any ingredients mentioned and discussed in the programme will be catered to whatever’s most accessible and available to the participants.
